FOR KITSAP "Back-to-School is an opportunity to bless Kitsap County teachers as they get ready to welcome students this fall.
This fall, we'll be focusing on EIGHT elementary schools in Kitsap County.
PART I: Teacher-Supply Drive
Each fall, teachers give of their treasure to outfit their classrooms, and they also give of their hearts to children, What better way to say "Thank you" than with a huge basket of teacher supplies.
YOU can participate by donating the following much-needed teacher supplies:
- Expo Markers
- Post-it Notes
- Highlighter Pens
- Scotch Tape
- Pencils
- Glue Sticks
- Red Pens
- Antibacterial Wipes
Bring your supplies to church Sunday, August 19 or 26, or drop them by the church office (Tues - Weds. 9-4pm).
PART II: Serve Opportunities
There are TWO types of serving opportunities available:
- Putting together baskets of school supplies to deliver to the schools.
- Working alongside teachers to help them set up their classrooms. (See below for locations/dates/times.)
Bremerton schools:
Crown Hill Elementary (Friday, Aug. 24, 1-3pm)
Naval Avenue Elementary (Friday, Aug. 24, 10-noon)
View Ridge Elementary (Tuesday, Aug. 28, 10-noon)
Central Kitsap schools:
Bud Hawk Elementary (Thursday, 8/30, 10:30-1pm)
Clear Creek Elementary (Friday, 8/31, 1-3pm)
PineCrest Elementary (Wednesday, 8/29, 1-3)
Woodlands Elementary (Friday, 8/31, 10-noon)
